Figure 21.1 shows the default values being over-written with the values we want. Here, three repetitions have been specified, with ascending pitch (3/2) between repetitions, and with an interval duration of 0.5 relative to the previous sound (meaning 0.5 seconds from the start of the last sound in a given repetition to the start of the first sound in the next).
